The Friends have been running tours and open days since their formation to make these important historic buildings accessible so that organisations, groups and individuals can explore, learn, participate in and enjoy the unique and varied heritage.

The Flaxmill Maltings Visitor Centre is open weekly, and this includes limited access to the site itself (see home page for opening times). 

You can book prearranged group and community guided tours around the outside of the buildings - Contact us if you would like to arrange a tour.

Our annual open weekend falls on the national Heritage Open Days in mid September, and this does include tours within the buildings.
